In Friday's non-league match, the host Stoney Creek Cougars football squad scored a decisive 37-0 victory over the Berkley Bears.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Huron (Ann Arbor, MI). The River Rats enter the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Huron routed Monroe (Monroe, MI), 22-12, in a league match.
