In Friday's league game, the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) football team edged the host Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), by a tally of 24-19.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 game, on Friday, October 24. Lake Highlands will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 35-31 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX).

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region I District 7 game with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Irving edged Nimitz (Irving, TX), 35-31, in a league outing.
