Alabama High School Football - Bessemer City sneaks past Northridge

October 17, 2025: Bessemer, AL 35022

The Bessemer City Tigers football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Northridge Jaguars to 16 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) in a 6A Region 4 test, on Friday, October 24. Bessemer City will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 37-0 league win over Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL).

With the defeat, Northridge drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Minor (Adamsville, AL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 30. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
