The Bexley (Columbus, OH) varsity football team lost Friday's home conference game against Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH) by a score of 35-7.
The Franklin Heights Falcons football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Bexley Lions to 7 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Ready for a Central Buckeye League test on Friday, October 24. Franklin Heights will meet a Silver Knights squad coming off a 29-19 league loss to Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 4-5.
The Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Barons enter the Central Buckeye League challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Buckeye Valley ran past Whitehall-Yearling (Whitehall, OH), 35-3, in a league challenge.
