In Friday's league outing, the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) football squad defeated the host Clovis North Broncos (Fresno, CA), by a tally of 30-20.

The Bears (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Timberwolves enter the Tri-River contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Clovis East was toppled by Clovis (Clovis, CA), 42-15, in a league bout.

The Broncos now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Clovis West for a Tri-River bout on Friday, October 24. Clovis North will encounter a Golden Eagles team coming off a 46-39 league loss to Central East (Fresno, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
