The Sussex Central Golden Knights football team (Georgetown, DE), was tipped 23-21 in Friday's league bout with the host Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE)

With the win, Cape Henlopen advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Dover (Dover, DE) to confront the Senators in a 3A District 2 contest on Friday, October 24. The Senators enter the contest with a record of 1-6. Dover lost 14-10 in their recent league contest against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE)

Coming up next, the Golden Knights confront the Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) in a 3A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 24. Sussex Central will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Riders enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 22-17 league loss to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE).
