In Friday's league outing, the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) football squad knocked off the visiting Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX), by a margin of 37-24.

The Rangers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manor for a 6A Region IV District 25 outing on Friday, October 24. Vista Ridge will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-13 league loss to Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.

The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their game against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks enter the 6A Region IV District 25 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, McNeil notched a victory over Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX), 45-42, in a league game.
