New Jersey High School Football - Long Branch crushed by Central Regional

Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), 42-7 in a non-league match.

The Golden Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Ocean Township routed Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 22-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Green Wave meet the Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 24. Long Branch will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bucs go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 28-19 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ).
