The Central Lions walloped the host Harris County Tigers football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Central will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 21-15 league win over Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAA Region 3 challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Mundy's Mill was overwhelmed by Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA), 49-0, in a league test.
