The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ), saw Copper Canyon's football team gain a win over Washington by a final score of 34-13.

With the win, Copper Canyon advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Aztecs travel to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Rattlers in a 4A Copper Sky bout on Friday, October 24. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. North Canyon won 34-22 in their recent league bout against Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ)

The Rams now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Alhambra for a 4A Copper Sky contest on Friday, October 24. Washington will confront a Lions squad coming off a 74-0 league loss to Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 0-8.
