The Corona del Sol Aztecs walloped the host Desert Ridge Jaguars football team by a score of 44-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 6A Southeast test, on Friday, October 24. Corona del Sol will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Colts come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 55-21 league win over Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ).

With the defeat, Desert Ridge drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to meet the Hawks in a 6A East Valley test on Friday, October 24. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 3-4. Highland won 24-20 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)
