The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) and the visiting Greenville Lions (Greenville, TX), witnessed Corsicana's football squad topple Greenville by a count of 38-14.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions enter the 5A-2 Region II District 6 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Kaufman was topped by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 31-7, in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Terrell for a 5A-2 Region II District 6 battle on Friday, October 24. Greenville will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 61-28 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-0.
