California High School Football - King/Drew holds off Dorsey

October 17, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90059

The King/Drew Golden Eagles football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Dorsey Dons to 16 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crenshaw for a Coliseum test on Friday, October 24. King/Drew will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 27-6 league win over Fremont (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Dorsey drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Dons host George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Generals in a Coliseum game on Friday, October 24. The Generals enter the game with a record of 6-1. George Washington Prep won 27-6 in their recent non-league game against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA)
