Pennsylvania High School Football - East Allegheny falls to Freeport

October 17, 2025: Freeport, PA 16229

The Freeport Yellowjackets felled the visiting East Allegheny Wild Cats football team by a score of 49-19 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Imani Christian Academy Saints (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 test, on Friday, October 24. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 9-0 record after their 53-7 league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA).

With the defeat, East Allegheny drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Wild cats host Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Foxes in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Foxes come into the test with a record of 2-7. Fox Chapel lost 35-14 in their recent league test against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA)
