New Jersey High School Football - Lacey Township drops to Freehold Township

In Friday's non-league match, the host Freehold Township Patriots football squad scored a good 28-6 triumph over the Lacey Township Lions.

The Patriots (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves come into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Manalapan was beaten by Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ), 23-22, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a Shore - C South battle on Saturday, October 25. Lacey Township will play a Piners team coming off a 43-42 non-league loss to Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ). The Piners record now stands at 2-6.
