Pennsylvania High School Football - Wyoming Area smashes Greater Nanticoke Area
October 17, 2025: Nanticoke, PA 18634 The Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) football trounced the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 60-7 in Friday's league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pittston for a non-league outing on Friday, October 24. Wyoming Area will battle a Patriots team coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-1.
The Trojans (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Hawkeyes enter the Wyoming Valley 2 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Hanover Area overwhelmed Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA), 35-0, in a league game.
