The Hawley Bearcats football squad scored 53 points and limited the host Olney Cubs to 6 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cisco for a 2A-1 Region I District 4 test on Friday, October 24. Hawley will clash with a Loboes squad coming off a 69-8 league win over Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Loboes record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Olney drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Anson (Anson, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 test on Friday, October 24. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Anson lost 28-21 in their recent league game against Stamford (Stamford, TX)
