The Mercer Island Islanders football team (Mercer Island, WA), dropped 50-31 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Inglemoor Vikings (Kenmore, WA)

The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Renton (Renton, WA). The Red Hawks enter the 2A/3A/4A Kingco - Mountain contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Renton thwarted Hazen (Renton, WA), 41-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Islanders confront the Redmond Mustangs (Redmond, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Kingco - Mountain battle, on Friday, October 24. Mercer Island will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 42-23 league win over Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA).
