The Wake Forest Cougars were victorious over the visiting Knightdale Knights football team by a score of 48-24 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Franklinton Red Rams (Franklinton, NC) in a Northern Six 6A/7A outing, on Friday, October 24. Wake Forest will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Red Rams come into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 13-0 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC).

With the defeat, Knightdale drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a Northern Six 6A/7A outing on Friday, October 24. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 3-5. Heritage won 42-33 in their recent league outing against Vance County (Henderson, NC)
