Indiana High School Football - Lake Station Edison thwarted by River Forest

October 17, 2025: Hobart, IN 46342

River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), 19-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, River Forest improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Ingots host Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-7. Mishawaka Marian lost 25-17 in their recent league battle against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN)

In their next game, the Fighting Eagles play the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 24. Lake Station Edison will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 34-10 league loss to Griffith (Griffith, IN).
