October 17, 2025: Industry, PA 15052 In Friday's league game, the Western Beaver Golden Beavers (Industry, PA) football team edged the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), by a tally of 20-14.
The Golden Beavers now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Freedom Area for a WPIAL AA Midwestern outing on Friday, October 24. Western Beaver will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 29-0 league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, New Brighton drops to 5-4 on the year. The Lions host Union Area (New Castle, PA) to battle the Scotties in a WPIAL AA Midwestern game on Friday, October 24. The Scotties enter the game with a record of 0-8. Union Area lost 41-6 in their recent league game against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA)
