The San Tan Foothills Sabercats football team (Queen Creek, AZ), was crushed 56-19 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ)

With the win, Round Valley advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Elks travel to Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ) to encounter the Prospectors in a 3A Mountain contest on Friday, October 24. The Prospectors enter the contest with a record of 1-7. Apache Junction won 18-7 in their recent league contest against ALA - Mesa North (Mesa, AZ)

Coming up next, the Sabercats confront the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) in a 3A East contest, on Friday, October 24. San Tan Foothills will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 45-6 league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ).
