Nevada High School Football - Silverado wallops Sunrise Mountain

October 17, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89142

The Silverado Skyhawks football team scored 54 points and restricted the host Sunrise Mountain Miners to 6 in the Skyhawks league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Skyhawks face the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Southern - Mountain challenge, on Friday, October 24. Silverado will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Desert Shields go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 52-6 league loss to Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV).

The Miners (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Rams go into the 4A Southern - Mountain test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Rancho was overwhelmed by Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV), 58-0, in a league test.
