The Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) football tipped the visiting Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA), 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Defenders now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a Ironwood outing on Friday, October 24. Valley Christian will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 49-7 league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Village Christian drops to 4-4 on the year. The Crusaders host Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA) to battle the Knights in a Ironwood game on Friday, October 24. The Knights enter the game with a record of 0-8. Ontario Christian lost 55-21 in their recent league game against Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
