Nebraska High School Football - Wakefield trounces Winnebago
October 18, 2019: Winnebago, NE 68071 In Friday's league match, the visiting Wakefield Trojans football squad scored a big 86-22 victory over the Winnebago Indians.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) in a D1 District 4 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 25. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 70-0 league win over Omaha Nation (Macy, NE).
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Bluejays enter the D1 District 4 (8 Man) match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Guardian Angels Central Catholic routed Homer (Homer, NE), 46-0, in a league match.
