In Tuesday's league contest, the Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 20. Brown County will attempt to better on its 24-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-23 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL).

With the loss, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] moves to 17-15 on the year. The Cougars host Triopia/Virginia (Concord, IL) to battle the Trojans in a Western Illinois Valley contest on Thursday, October 20. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 15-14.
