In Friday's league game, the Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) football team edged the host Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), by a tally of 42-38.

In their next game, the Badgers battle the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 4 game, on Friday, October 25. Lampasas will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 63-0 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).
