Michigan High School Football - Port Huron Northern sneaks past Chippewa Valley

October 18, 2024: Port Huron, MI 48060

The Port Huron Northern Huskies football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds to 22 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Clair for a non-league test on Friday, October 25. Port Huron Northern will meet a Saints squad coming off a 53-30 non-league win over Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI). The Saints record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Chippewa Valley drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Big reds host De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI) to play the Pilots in a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. The Pilots go into the battle with a record of 5-2. De La Salle Collegiate won 49-14 in their recent league battle against St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH)
