The Lincolnton Wolves football squad scored 38 points and limited the host East Burke Cavaliers to 0 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maiden for a 2A Catawba Valley test on Friday, October 25. Lincolnton will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 28-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, East Burke drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to meet the Rebels in a 2A Catawba Valley test on Friday, October 25. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 5-3. West Lincoln won 50-27 in their recent league test against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
