The Oil City Oilers walloped the host Franklin Knights football team by a score of 48-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Oilers face the Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 25. Oil City will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Beavers go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 28-7 league win over Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Sailors go into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Lakeview was ripped by Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA), 22-12, in a league challenge.
