Texas High School Football - Stratford wallops Northbrook

The Stratford Spartans football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Northbrook Raiders to 12 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jersey Village for a 6A Region III District 17 test on Friday, October 10. Stratford will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 41-16 league loss to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Northbrook drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 17 outing on Thursday, October 9. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Cypress Falls won 63-31 in their recent league outing against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX)
