The South Brunswick Vikings football team (Monmouth Junction, NJ), was beaten 42-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ)

The Pioneers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Manasquan knocked off Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 29-0, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marlboro for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 28. South Brunswick will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 28-21 league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.
