October 21, 2022: Derby, CT 06418 The Derby Red Raiders football team (Derby, CT), was beaten 36-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT)
The Falcons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Woodland Regional achieved victory over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 33-6, in a league challenge.
The Red Raiders now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Seymour for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper challenge on Friday, October 28. Derby will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 55-10 league win over Torrington (Torrington, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
