The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) and the visiting Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA), observed Towns County's football squad defeat Warren County by a count of 20-8.

The Indians now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Washington-Wilkes for a A D2 Region 8A contest on Friday, October 28. Towns County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Aquinas (Augusta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Screaming Devils encounter the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a A D2 Region 8B contest, on Friday, October 28.
