October 21, 2024: Waterford, MI 48328 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) and the visiting Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI), observed Mott's volleyball team top Pontiac by a count of 3-0.
The Corsairs (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Avondale was knocked off by Berkley (Berkley, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Phoenix meet the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers (Carsonville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Pontiac will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
