Maryland High School Football - Howard loses to Atholton
October 21, 2025: Ellicott City, MD 21043 Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 42-31 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Atholton advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a non-league match on Monday, October 27. The Scorpions come into the match with a record of 3-4. Oakland Mills won 38-0 in their recent non-league match against Long Reach (Columbia, MD)
Coming up next, the Lions confront the Guilford Park Panther (Jessup, MD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 23. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Panther go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 28-8 non-league win over Hammond (Columbia, MD).
