In Tuesday's league match, the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) volleyball squad overcame the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a Northern battle, on Thursday, October 23. University Prep will attempt to improve on its 26-8 season record. The Cubs go into the battle with a 12-21 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).

The Falcons now own a 1-28 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yreka for a Northern battle on Thursday, October 23. Central Valley will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Miners record now stands at 17-16.
