The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes football team (Pojoaque, NM), was ripped 62-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)

The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Moriarty trounced Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 62-28, in a league challenge.

The Elks/Elkettes now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Espanola Valley for a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 28. Pojoaque Valley will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 62-28 league loss to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 5-4.
