In Friday's league match, the host Belton Tigers football squad scored a decisive 35-0 triumph over the Rudder Rangers.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions come into the 5A-2 Region III District 10 match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Waco was routed by University (Waco, TX), 36-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Rangers confront the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 battle, on Friday, October 31. Rudder will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 33-25 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).
