Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD), 34-8 in a non-league match.

The Lakers (6-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Crusaders come into the MIAA B match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, St. Paul's defeated John Carroll (Bel Air, MD), 21-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Vikings meet the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles (Severn, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 31. St. John's Catholic Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 46-8 non-league win over Northern Virginia HomeSchool (Manassas, VA).
