In Friday's league outing, the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) football squad tipped the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 35-28.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Judson for a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, October 31. Johnson will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 36-8 league win over Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 3-5.
