The East Gaston Warriors football team (Mt. Holly, NC), was tipped 27-21 in Friday's league bout with the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC)

With the win, West Lincoln betters its record to 5-4 on the year. The Rebels host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Wolves in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A contest on Friday, October 31. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 7-2. Lincolnton lost 45-21 in their recent league contest against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A contest, on Friday, October 31. East Gaston will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 42-7 league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
