In Friday's league game, the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) football team edged the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), by a tally of 21-14.

In their next game, the War Eagles face the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 outing, on Thursday, October 30. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bluejackets come into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 35-20 league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA).
