South Carolina High School Football - Midland Valley winner over South Aiken

The Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) football knocked off the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), 43-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Augusta for a AAAA Region 4 game on Friday, October 31. Midland Valley will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 58-12 league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-1.

The Thoroughbreds (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets enter the AAAA Region 4 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Aiken fell by Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC), 48-0, in a league game.
