Florida High School Football - Sunlake crushed by Mitchell

Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL), 50-16 in a league battle.

With the win, Mitchell advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Anclote (Holiday, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 30. The Sharks go into the battle with a record of 1-8. Anclote lost 44-6 in their recent league match against Dunedin (Dunedin, FL)

Coming up next, the Seahawks meet the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 30. Sunlake will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the match with a 1-8 record after their 54-3 league loss to Gaither (Tampa, FL).
