In Friday's league match, the host Winona Christian Stars football squad scored a good 33-6 triumph over the Oak Hill Academy Raiders.

The Stars (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Winston Academy (Louisville, MS). The Patriots go into the MAIS 2A District 3 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Winston Academy was dropped by Lamar (Meridian, MS), 27-12, in a non-league battle.
