Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 56-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Parkersburg advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Big Reds travel to Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV) to play the Huskies in a non-league battle on Friday, October 31. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Herbert Hoover lost 37-25 in their recent non-league match against Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV)

Next up, the Vikings play the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, November 7. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
