In Friday's league game, the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) football team edged the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), by a tally of 21-14.

In their next game, the Lobos face the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 game, on Friday, November 1. Palmview will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Sabercats enter the game with a 8-0 record after their 56-0 league win over McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX).
