In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Brandon Valley Lynx volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sturgis Brown Scoopers.

The Lynx (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 12-17 record. In their last challenge, Douglas beat Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
