The Hoover Huskies topped the host Independence Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Huskies now have a 36-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenbrier East for a non-league test on Thursday, October 28. Hoover will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Spartans record now stands at 36-13.
